A truly wonderful place to stay. Lydia and Paul have created a beautiful space to properly relax. High quality finishes, great storage space, and a cracking view. Feels very private and cosy. Fantastic surroundings – chickens, pigs, bunnies, doves! We will absolutely be back!

The comfy bed, alexa, the fire place and that the heated towel rail was on. The pretty flower posy, wine, milk, tea and crisps in the arrival basket. A real nice surprise from Lydia, the host.
Excellent in all ways
The Dove Cote was lovely. Everything was taken care of and the facilities were exceptional. The views and location were also excellent.
Wonderful place in the Yorkshire Dales. Lydia’s place is great. Lovely King sized bed and the decor is beautiful. Everything you need for a enjoyable vacation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dovecote. We went to Threshfield for a week’s walking and cycling holiday. The accommodation is faultless and has everything you need, and the location is good also. There is a fabulous view from the Dovecote to wake up to every morning. Lydia was a very friendly host with suggestions for places to eat and walks/cycle rides. Would definitely recommend staying there.
Fantastic, relaxing few days!
This is a great place for two people. The whole ,large room was beautifully appointed by someone with a designer’s eye and a wish to provide comfort in style. Beautifully clean , well equipped, in a beautiful location and lots of helpful information from a very friendly hostess. What more could you want ? Go there and have a great time.

A really lovely place to stay in the heart of the Yorkshire dales.
Came here to stay whilst attending the Yorkshire dales food and drink festival for my birthday with my sister and everything about this place is amazing. You can tell there has been a lot of hard work put in to create an amazing place to stay, even the smaller details are exceptional such as the Sky+ box, wireless charger, Amazon echo and the welcome basket which included wine, crisps, biscuits and eggs from the farm. Nothing could not fault anything.
